Welcome to The Rialto’s Open Pamphlet Competition, judged by award-winning poet Richard Scott.
First prize: publication, a launch reading and up to £200 expenses.
Poets on the shortlist of 10 will each get a paragraph of feedback from Richard. The winner and 3 others will have a poem published in The Rialto. All shortlisted poets will have a poem published on our website.
Competition deadline: midnight on Wednesday 31 December 2018. We recommend you enter well before the deadline to avoid any technical problems arising from a last-minute rush!

We look forward to reading your 18-24 page pamphlet. Remember that entries must be anonymous. Please make sure that you haven’t put your name or contact details on any of the poem pages.
Click on ‘Submit’ to enter. Please put the title of your pamphlet in the title box; do not include your name. In the contact details box list your name, address, email, phone number.
Entry costs £22, or £16 if you are a Rialto subscriber. Payment must be in pounds sterling.
You will be asked for payment when you complete the process. You may pay by Paypal or credit card.
Non-subscribers may pay the subscribers’ rate if they take out a subscription when they enter the competition. A subscription costs £24 (£19 if you are on a low income) for 3 issues. You can subscribe here.
